Innovating by developing research and valorization

The University, the most important university in France and Europe in terms of health, plays a leading role in the scientific advances of our time; organized around fields of excellence (health, economics, psychology, computer science, social sciences etc.), its research activities exemplify its dynamism.

Acting as interface between researchers and national/international socio-economic partners the Research Management and Valorization Department (Direction de la Recherche et de la Valorisation, DRV) and within it the Industrial and Trade Activities departments (SAIC) favor information exchanges about:

  • Collaborations with our research laboratories
  • The possible financial support to recruit young researchers (patronage, CIFRE contract (Conventions Industrielles de Formation par la REcherche,  Industrial agreement  for training through research), the R&D(Research and development) projects carried out in partnership with our laboratories.

The University also has to promote knowledge transfer by developing programmes for Master’s degrees and programmes supporting ‘research training through research’ with its Doctoral Schools .
